Bromelain, papain, and protease all aid in the breakdown of protein, while malt diastase and amylase help with carbohydrate digestion. Cellulase break down cellulose, the fiber found in many vegetable and fruits. Betaine HCl helps break down proteins in the stomach. Ox bile extract also helps with overall digestion.
