Salt Tea Lights are natural salt and are therefore intended for indoor use, not outdoors. Keep them away from water. If your tea light holder accidentally becomes wet on the outside, light the candle and let its warmth dry it out. You can also pat it with a dry cloth to help it dry out more quickly. Salt tea light holders are not "used up" by being used frequently. Salt does however have a tendency to absorb moisture out of the air. If your tea light holder does "sweat," simply pat it down with a dry cloth or paper towel and let the warmth of the candle dry up the remaining moisture. If you intend to store the tea light candle holder unused for a period of time; place it in its original box or a plastic bag and store it in a moisture-free environment. It is always best to place the tea light holder on a protected surface since a salt tea light holder may sweat at various times.
