Policosanol is the generic term used for a mixture of long chain fatty alcohols found in beeswax, jams, sugar cane, and wheat germ oil. Triacontanol and Octacosanol are the main components of the policosanol complex, followed by tetracosanol and hexacosanol, all of which are found naturally within Octa-Pollen™. Together these substances work to support the maintenance of cholesterol levels within normal ranges. Bee Pollen works synergistically with Octacosanol to increase its energy-releasing properties.
