(bifidobacteria), in the intestinal tract, creating a more favorable environment
where these beneficial bacteria can flourish. Each serving of Colon Care provides
17 grams of barley malt extract.
Acidophilus (Lactobacillus Acidophilus): An important and
normal inhabitant of healthy human intestines. Acidophilus can help control
the growth of undesirable microorganisms entering the digestive system. In addition,
research indicates acidophilus can improve the digestion of lactose (a milk
sugar) and increase Vitamin B synthesis. The acidophilus in Colon Care is of
the highest quality and stability obtainable. It is a specially selected viable
strain of freeze-dried acidophilus that is resistant to stomach acid and survives
passage through the gastrointestinal tract. Each serving of Colon Care provides
1 billion live acidophius cells at time of formulation.
Bifidus (BifidoBacterium Longum): The most prevalent and friendly
microorganisms in the colon, many scientific researchers believe they play an
important role in protecting good health. Colon Care contains Bifidobacterium
longum, the superior human strain of bifidobacteria that is an integral part
of normal adult intestinal microflora. Unlike the infant type of bifidobacteria
which cannot survive or proliferate in the intestines of older people, Bifidobacterium
longum is highly stable and resistant to stomach acids in adults, ensuring its
survival through the gastrointestinal tract and maximum function in the colon.
Each serving of Colon Care provides 1 billion live Bifidobacterium longum cells
at time of formulation.
Vitamin C (Calcium Ascorbate): It helps promote the growth
of bifidus (bifidobacteria), ensuring a proper balance of intestinal flora.
Each serving of Colon Care provides 250 mg of buffered vitamin C from calcium
ascorbate also supplies a natural source of calcium which recent research suggests

As a dietary food supplement, take 1 serving daily or as directed. Simply add 2 rounded tablespoonsful (22.9 grams) to 8 oz. of water. Stir and serve. An additional glass of water is helpful.
