Americans now eat more carbohydrates than ever - 50 more pounds per person,
each year in the last ten years. They are now thought to be a major contributor
to obesity. Today's societal pressures often cause us to eat foods that are
quick and easy, and those are often the fast foods high in carbohydrates. If
we do not use these carb calories for energy during the day, they end up being
stored as body fat.
When we reduce the amount of carbohydrates from our diet, we will lose weight.

(1) Carbohydrate Blocker - Phase 2™: This ingredient
is derived from Phaseolus vulgaris, commonly known as White Kidney Bean. Phase
2™ inhibits alpha amylase, the enzyme that promotes the breakdown of starch
in the gastrointestinal tract. This results in a reduction in the absorption
of starch in foods, so that less starchy carbohydrates are broken down and converted
into blood sugar.
These clinically significant results are based on a recent, 8-week, double-blind,
placebo-controlled study of 50 subjects conducted at Northridge Hospital Medical
Center, UCLA academic affiliate.
In addition, an analyses of two double-blind, placebo-controlled, human pilot
trials, showed that starch absorption averaged 66% lower in the group taking
Phase 2™. Two safety studies showed Phase 2™ to be safe and non-toxic.
(2) Appetite Suppression: Another important part of carbohydrate
control and reaching weight loss goals includes appetite suppression.
